Modifications of UVX
|
| During the development of UV-curing screen ink range UVX, we focussed on properties to make this ink quality especially suitable for printing onto PVC materials. Accelerated weathering trials in our laboratory showed that UVX prints are excellently outdoor-resistant if printed on high-quality PVC materials. In their standard adjustment UVX inks result in highly glossy prints. This also applies for the process colours of the UVX series. However, many customers prefer to use process colours which result in a satin-gloss finish. The advantages are obvious. Naturally, these prints do not show the greasy appearance which is obtained with the use of glossy process colours. To meet these requirements
our UVX range has been enlarged by a matt system. UVX

colours can be processed without problems as this is the case with the
UVX glossy inks. They show extremely low ink layer thickness and thus
optimum printability. After proper through-curing prints established with
UVX have an extremely low odour. This is particularly advantageous if
prints are displayed indoors e.g. in department stores. |
